Work has been so awful lately, I can't even explain it. There's drama among my coworkers and there's rudeness from outside and seriously, there's only so much a person can take.
The only thing that's been managing to cheer me up these days is this, which is weird because I usually only fangirl over music/bands/band guys, and not any other fandoms, but for some reason I've become pathetically into this.
It's stupid, but so is real life at the moment. |

A few drops of blood and a broken lamp made the police conduct the disappearance as abduction, yet they were never able to find Ryan or make much progress on the matter. Meanwhile the police struggled to find Ryan or his kidnapper, Brendon Urie started his own investigation, an enquiry that after four years had yielded next to nothing, until one day, with the arriving of a postcard. All Time Low are coming here, but not to my city. The ticket price is really cheap, but the train ticket costs way too fucking much and I'd have to go alone because none of my friends like them. Dammit.
I'm depressed now. |

So, how fucking weird/horrible was Monday?
On the first day of my one and only week of vacation of the year, one of my relatives dies, Panic gets fucked in half and my flight to London is cancelled.
If anyone had a worse Monday, let me know and I'll give you a prize. It was just un-fucking-believable.
I did finally get to London in the end, but way later, and it wasn't a very good vacation, which is sad because I really, really needed it, and London is, after this place and Dublin, my favorite city in the world.

| | melancholy | ] | Why does life have to be so damn complicated? I don't get why it can't just ever be a bit easier. It feels like I'm panicking about everything. My main goal next year is to find an apartment and live on my own for the first time, which I really need to do because my parents are slowly starting to annoy the hell out of me. I just don't think I can take it much longer tbh. But how the hell am I ever going to get an apartment? I fucking hate this city sometimes, and how everyone moves here from the rest of the country. It's not fair. I've lived here all my life, why should other people get the apartments before me?
I guess I could move somewhere else and get a place and a new job there. It'd probably be easier. But I know I won't/can't. I don't think I'd ever be able to really like a smaller city, I mean, this one isn't exactly New York big, but the population is at least 2 million and that's fine with me. I don't like smaller cities. I don't know why. But anyway, I need to get an apartment. I need to. Also, while on the subject of things I really need; I need my parents and relatives to stop bugging me about going to college. You know what? I don't want to. I don't want to go to college. Why does that have to be so bad? I don't get it. I want to get a stable job, it doesn't have to be fancy and complicated, it can be anything, as long as it allows me to pay my rent and have a bit to spare. I honestly don't think I ever want to go back to school. I hated school. I still do.
I've been thinking about going away for a while. Like to some other country. I guess I could study there, that wouldn't be as bad. It would be different and I think I need that now. I'm sort of sick of my life as it is. Nothing new ever happens, it's just the same old thing. Same old routines. I want to go to Australia. I've seriously been thinking about it ever since I saw an ad on the subway for colleges there. And it's pretty much the farthest away you can go, or maybe that's New Zealand, I don't know, but I think I would really like it there. Because it's the opposite of here.
I'd get homesick pretty fast though, I know, but still. I want to go. I so wish I could. |
